741 7th Avenue North, Saskatoon
In 2016, the team at REM joined forces with RG Renovations to design a complete overhaul of 741 7th Avenue North, which formerly housed a grocery store in City Park neighbourhood of Saskatoon. The new owners of the building wanted to take advantage of flexible zoning by providing a multi-tenant space to provide expanded services to the vibrant area close to downtown. To accommodate the building conversion, various structural upgrades were required including to the floor and roof systems, the addition of a mezzanine for multi-tenant use and reframing of the North and East walls for exterior renovations.
