Drift Sidewalk Café – 339 Avenue A North, Saskatoon, SK
REM designed the concrete foundation and wood/timber framing for an addition now comprising a 2-storey sidewalk café located near the Farmers Market in Saskatoon. This project presented interesting design challenges including tying the wooden addition to the original clay tile building and extra design to increase lateral stability, a requirement for a building with many large windows.
